Hello NAS families.
My name is Aja and I am one of the counselors at NAS. My caseload is students with the last names L-Z.
I have my bachelor's degree in History with a concentration in Secondary Education from Washington College (Chestertown, MD). I have my master's degree in Counseling in the Educational Settings and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Rowan University. After working at the Secondary Counseling level for eight years, I made the transition to Elementary Counseling in 2023. I enjoy working with students to help them understand that it is okay to experience the range of emotions we carry as humans. I help students learn to recognize, regulate, and respond to their feelings by providing strategies that they can use every day. I am the I&RS Co-Facilitator for the school.
I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my family outside of school.

Hello New Albany families!
My name is Devon and I am one of the school counselors at NAS for students with last names A-K.
I have my bachelor's degree in psychology, and my masters degree in counseling in educational settings, both from Rowan University. I’m passionate about helping students see that all emotions are part of being human. Together, we’ll learn to observe, regulate, and respond to their feelings in ways that keep them and those around them safe and cared for. I am the school 504 coordinator and anti-bullying specialist.
On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family and 2 german shepherds, making earrings as a hobby, and kayaking in the summer.
