New Albany Families — The Elaine Mendelow Invention Convention Returns for its 41st Year! 

We are thrilled to announce the 41st Annual Elaine Mendelow Invention Convention, a long-standing Cinnaminson tradition that has inspired creativity, problem-solving, and innovation for more than four decades. This beloved event celebrates the imagination and resilience of our students, some of whom have gone on to patent their ideas and even earn national recognition for their inventions.

The Invention Convention is open to all K–12 students, whether they are eager to compete or simply excited to explore the invention process. Every child is welcome—and every idea matters!  Click here to view the formal IC Announcement.

Afterschool Mentoring Sessions

We are excited to offer optional afterschool and virtual support sessionsfor students and families who would like extra guidance as they work through each stage of the invention process. More information and sign-ups will be made available at our informational session on Jan. 8th.

Event Day: March 3, 2026

On March 3rd, our student inventors will proudly present their inventions at the Invention Convention at Cinnaminson High School. This is a joyful, community-wide celebration of curiosity, creativity, and bold ideas. Families and community members are invited to attend our evening showcase and award ceremony to celebrate our young inventors.
